David Ray began his career at the Philadelphia Public Defender's Office in 1980, where he gained significant trial experience. While at the Public Defender's office, David spent a considerable amount of time trying cases in the Major Crimes Unit.
After leaving the Public Defenders, David joined a general practice firm in Bensalem, PA before becoming a Partner at the Law Office of Plakins, Rieffel & Ray in Doylestown, PA. At PR&R, David was the head of the firm's civil litigation unit, where he tried a number of cases in the areas of construction defect/accident claims, toxic tort and mass tort.
He subsequently joined the Philadelphia civil litigation firm of Bennett Bricklin & Saltzburg LLC, where he practiced for several years as of counsel until his retirement from full-time law practice.
In 2018, David joined WES Litigation as a paralegal supervisor/discovery specialist bringing with him over 30 years of litigation experience.
David was born in Melbourne, Australia, but spent his childhood in Brazil. David is married and has two adult children. He enjoys the great outdoors, boating and motorcycling. David speaks and understands Portuguese.
